Blind embossing

Understatement in colours. The engraved and dyed logo appears rather matt compared to the highly glossy hydroglaze. Hydroglaze with logo engravings combines two classical techniques to compound colours, that are consistent with your CI, with the classy look of engravings.

ADVANTAGES

  • the cup is first engraved and then fully coloured with hydroglaze
  • the effect is one of blind embossing
  • matt and glossy surfaces are possible
  • understatement in colour
  • dishwasher-safe
  • colour glaze is water-based
  • completely free of harmful substances and suitable for food

LIMITATIONS

  • hydroglaze is not 100% scratch-resistant and as a result not appropriate for demanding everyday catering use
  • large logos or bold typefaces are most effective, subtle motifs cannot be as deeply engraved and are therefore unsuitable for this technique

OPTIONS

  • with orders of 250+
  • all Pantone® or HKS colours, metallic, gold and silver colours
  • silk-matt or high-gloss surfaces
