  • You're looking for some really good talks to help you practice your craft? Check out TED.com! Here you'll find very interesting talks on countless topics from some of the world's most brilliant scientists, activists, consultants and speakers.

General websites

  • sketchnotearmy.com is a blog that's dedicated entirely to sketchnoting. Here you'll find many great examples of talks from all over the world.
  • Sunni Brown pushes the use of the sketches even further: she has written an entire book on gamestroming.
  • DesignMadeInGermany has recently published an interview with Eva Lotta Lamm, a German sketchnoter (German only). And here's a talk in english she had given: http://www.blog.imagethink.net/line-by-line/2011/5/13/sketchnotes-webexpo-2010-video-eva-lotta-lamm.html

Check out Dave Gray's website. Here you'll find some incredible tips and tricks starting from simple drawings to the developement of a 'form repertoire' and different facial expressions of stick figures.

Last but not least

A really beautiful guide to sketchnotes with all the necessary details.

Here you can get large-scale sketchbooks to a decent price, e.g. spiral sketchbooks.
